Swainby and Potto Church of England (Voluntary Aided) Primary School and Ingleby Arncliffe Church of England (Voluntary Aided) Primary School are two small, rural, Church schools, situated at the foot of the Cleveland Hills, which aim to provide, within a Christian ethos, a safe, challenging and stimulating environment where all children can achieve their potential.  The schools are working in partnership, with one full-time Executive Head Teacher and two full-time class teachers, but each retain their individual DFE numbers and Governing Bodies.

Staff, governors and I welcome you to our website and our schools. We believe that, working together, Swainby and Potto and Ingleby Arncliffe Primary Schools can offer the best educational provision for the children in our communities.

We are committed to making the most of the resources around us, sharing our expertise and taking advantage of the skills and talents available to us in our local communities and neighbouring schools. This will make our small schools more sustainable and enrich the children’s social, cultural and academic experiences.

We will strive to be an outstanding educational establishment where learning is irresistible for all members of our school family.

From March 2017 until July 2017 the schools are based at Ingleby Arncliffe.
